Ellis Sullivan

Climate Commodities Processing is a platform company dedicated to the climate economy, encompassing operational branches in physical trading, mineral processing and refining, transportation and logistics, renewable power, insurance, and financial services. As the CEO, Ellis Sullivan serves as the execution-focused partner on the team. He’s currently managing the development of one of the lowest carbon supply projects in the industrial mineral supply chain. 

Above all else, Ellis Sullivan is driven by a passion for reshoring and decarbonizing the critical mineral supply chains within the United States. With a keen focus on sustainability and efficiency, Ellis endeavors to contribute to the country’s economic resilience while minimizing its carbon footprint. Ellis aims to bolster the domestic production of essential minerals through strategic initiatives and innovative approaches while mitigating environmental impacts.

In addition to the above role, Ellis Sullivan is the Co-Founder and CEO of another organization – Climate Commodities Merchant & Development Capital. It is a fund family encompassing development and pre-construction capital, focusing on climate economy projects and more.

Ellis Sullivan may be a CEO, but he doesn’t fall under many stereotypes people hold for this position. He is constantly pushing to be the best at whatever task is in front of him. Likewise, Ellis works hard to treat everyone equally at all company levels. He finds great satisfaction in seeing others succeed and enjoys helping to raise them up. Finally, Ellis has learned through experience that a positive attitude will always win.

Before his current roles, Ellis Sullivan held many professional roles and positions. Most recently, he was the CEO of Great Lakes Minerals. This is one of the most extensive supplies in North America, providing resources such as processed brown fused alumina (BFA), Chinese calcinated bauxite, and Guyanese calcined bauxite. Prior to this, Ellis worked at SurgiCor & Stryker Orthopedics as a General Sales Manager & Executive. This gave Ellis the necessary experience to understand national markets.

Currently, Ellis Sullivan serves on three different boards. The first is Climate Commodities International, where he serves as an Independent Director. This holding company has operations focused on the climate economy, dealing with physical trading, specialty finance, mineral processing, transportation, logistics, and alternative fuels. Likewise, Mr. Sullivan is a Board Advisor for both Graphcoa and Limetec. Graphcoa is a Brazilian graphic mining company, while Limetec is a limestone and calcium carbonate mining company. These aren’t the only organizations Ellis is associated with, as he is also a member of the Young President’s Organization (Jackson Hole, WY Chapter). 

Outside of his professional life, Ellis Sullivan enjoys various activities and hobbies. His favorites include hunting, fishing, cycling, hiking, and traveling.
